What an exciting time it is to work in the Rio Grande Valley! I’m incredibly proud to work as Executive Director for RGV LEAD and continue to uphold RGV LEAD’s Mission
to foster a partnership between education and industry to equip students with college and career readiness that meets the region’s highly skilled workforce demands.
We recently hosted The RGV LEAD’s State of Education and Industry, which brought together a panel of individuals who play an essential role in education and industry. RGV LEAD would like to thank the following panelists who shared valuable insight on what they are doing to help build and empower a skilled workforce in the Rio Grande Valley:
Julián Álvarez, Texas Workforce Commission, Commissioner Representing Labor;
Alexis Bauserman, Director of College, Career, and Military Preparedness for the Texas Education Agency;
Dr. Tina Jackson, Assistant Commissioner for Workforce Education with Texas Higher Education Board;
